The Lord’s love for you and I blows my mind each and every day. I think of the parable of the lost son, and how when we decide to choose him he’ll be running after us with joy. Jesus is ecstatic when we choose Him and he’s not going to wait for us to come to him, but when he sees us from a distance he’ll run to us and embrace us in love. I just can’t describe how humbled and blessed I am to be able to follow my Father. (Mark 15:20)

All Jesus wants of us, is to abide in Him, and when we do that we’ll become more like Him. I think of it as that old saying, “you become like the 5 people you hang out with the most.” So when we choose to be around Jesus, overtime we will become more like his character because he is working through me by me abiding in Him. So i’ve realized that there’s nothing I can do to change myself but only through the Lord can I truly become more like him.

I’m uniquely and perfectly made in the Lord. This has been an amazing revelation that Jesus helped me discover, that I don’t need the approval of other people, because Jesus the Creator made me perfect in his image giving me all the tools I’ll need to live out the life that he’s called me too. I don’t have to question if I'm enough because I know He is, and that’s all I need. Because of this I can lift others up by rejoicing in the gifts that God has given them and how He’s going to use them for his divine plan.

Overall the biggest thing I’ve learned is that I’m nothing without Jesus, and I can’t do anything without him. I’m in awe of the Creator each and every day.
